About
Ted Greenblatt
I became a therapist after working for many years in education as an alternative school teacher, child and adolescent development instructor, foster care specialist, and conflict resolution trainer. What I saw was a need to get to the root of childhood and family challenges and help people make deep and lasting changes in their lives.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Seattle University, a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy.
Additional Information:
I have lived in Seattle for more than 25 years—now on Beacon Hill. Some of my favorite activities include playing ping-pong with family, preparing Thai curry for friends and running around Seward Park. I’m also committed to social justice and have been a longtime volunteer for TeamChild.
People usually contact me to start therapy when they feel lost or stuck in some aspect of their life. I am a therapist because I like helping people make deep and lasting changes in their lives. When we live in harmony with our deepest beliefs and goals, we thrive; when we stray from those beliefs and aspirations, we struggle. By seeing the best in people, asking questions about their deepest principles and working with them as they struggle to live authentically, I help people find their way.
I enjoy working with adults, children, teens and families.
